As long as they don't grab this accidentally... if that is what you are getting at. I don't think a passenger would reach for the gearshift.

I'm just saying that the center consoles between the 3 are just really similar, mainly because they all have that same sort shape with the handle there.

Oh, I see. I thought you were saying that in an "oh-shit' situation the passenger would interfere with car control. I like this new design language though...anything that makes it harder for the passenger to change the station on the radio.

Oh nah, I think the driver controls are fine. I just noticed that very similar design language between the three interiors and found it interesting.

I think it just makes ergonomic sense. The shifter is right there because that's where the driver's hand naturally falls. So the ohshithandle should be where the passenger's hand naturally falls.
